Description:
This course is designed to help workers read and interpret construction plans used on job sites with confidence. Participants will learn to interpret key blueprint elements including floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, plumbing drawings and other construction details.
Topics include:
• Blueprint symbols and abbreviations
• Interpreting construction sequences and trade coordination
• Extraction of information from plans for inspections, layouts, and installations
• Practical exercises to apply reading skills to actual projects
